Our Employees

Our employee’s commitment and dedication in focusing on our client’s needs has been the key to our company’s success since 1987. CEI’s management team has over 75 years industry experience and our technical operations are supervised by a CIH, PH.D. Director. CEI analysts are degreed professionals and receive extensive training in applicable microscopy methods.

Our Capabilities

CEI specializes in asbestos testing by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), polarizing light microscopy (PLM), phase contrast microscopy (PCM), and environmental mold testing by direct microscopy. Our experienced analytical team is capable of analyzing 500,000 asbestos samples each year and we routinely process over 1,500 samples daily on 24 hour TAT. Laboratory departments are staffed to operate at 85% capacity to ensure service excellence.

CEI maintains a company wide focus on quality management in all aspects of our business including analytical results, reporting, record keeping, accounting, and customer service. A dedicated QA manager oversees our operations in strict accordance to NVLAP and AIHA-LAP, LLC accreditation requirements.
